Outside cold, inside good! The globally known aquarium center Sea Life, also located in Helsinki, is a perfect place to throw a fun and creative birthday party. With a group of pre-schoolers to celebrate Julian’s 6th birthday, we tested the Sea Life and designed our own a kids party there. Not want the party planning hazzle? Sea Life also offers party packages in collaboration with Merirosvot Juhlapalvelu, where you can book your own theme Party that includes everything from catering to cleaning. Throwing a party does not need to be so tiresome! More information here This time we decided to go with a Superhero theme. There is this image of Julian spiting fire which was made by the amazing artist Jonna Uhrman. We used that to create aClark Kent/ Superboy element.
Store bought cake and decorated with beautiful handmade decorations and the litte superhero we bought in the Tiger store. Swedish Tiger is an awesome place to find party supplies.
Consult internet, when looking for something impossible! I found old comic books scans, made them black and white and printed them in a pearl metallic paper to make it cooler. I used craft hole punchers to make these awesome decorations. These are Chocolate Chip cookie dough pops. Check recipe here.

Kids loved the yellow submarine room at Sealife. They felt like real superheroes with their capes.
I saved the baby food jars and used them as cute glasses, styling with colorful little straws I found in Tiger.
Time for some Sea life fun!
Kids absolutely loved it!
