Originally from Norway, Silje Glefjell is a portrait photographer who has found her home in Houston, the United States, after living in Australia and United Kingdom. With three adorable kids, who are great stand-by models, Silje enjoys working as a photographer full-time and discovering remarkable locations for her photo shoots. Silje shares a personal project with us called Children in Fairy Tales. Mysterious whispers, dark secrets and powerful magic are entangled and entwined together. Children in Fairy Tales drinks from the folklores, long forgotten tales and old women’s stories that are a bit intimidating, mesmerizing and intimate.
Danger looms in a deep, dark forest, and yet there is always hope, a safe haven, a tiny corner of beauty and magic. “I hope people feel a connection to the photos when they see them, and that they remember to grab onto those magical moments with their kids and enjoy them.” says Silje.
